Thanks for your interest in Little Treasures! My mission is to provide a service that meets the needs of your whole family. I combine the benefits of what I have learned in licensed group care with the familiarity, flexibility and family focus of a home based program.

Location and Environment

We are located just off of Highbury Ave North on Fuller St.  We are within walking distance of Beacock Library and the playground at Hillcrest PS.  Our home school is Hillcrest PS, I can also meet after school children off the bus from Huron Heights French Immersion and Ecole de la Tamise.

I care for up to five children in my home at one time. They currently range in age from 13 months to 4 years old. I also have two children of my own, Amelia is 9 and Daniel is 6.

We have a bright, clean and chemical-free home. The main daycare area consists of the children's playroom/dining room and kitchen. Children that nap each have their own playpen/bedding in separate areas. The backyard is lovely enclosed and has a patio for water, sand and sensory exploration, and a large grassy area for games and playing, and a garden for growing.  We spend a lot of time outside everyday.

The playroom is equipped with educational and age-appropriate toys that are rotated on a regular basis.
We have a dramatic play center complete with kitchen, groceries, dress-ups and dolls. There are many construction toys to choose from including Duplo, Widgets, large foam blocks and many more. Puzzles, books and games for older children are rotated regularly. There is a large selection of infant and toddler toys and games such as shape sorters and Little People. I regularly stock craft supplies and hands-on materials.

I am equipped with a large wagon for walking excursions, and a van with appropriate car seats for further expeditions.

Our home is animal friendly. We have two very docile male cats.
