Thanks for your interest in Little Treasures! My mission is to provide a service that meets the needs of your whole family. I combine the benefits of what I have learned in licensed group care with the familiarity, flexibility and family focus of a home based program.

Hours, Fees and Policies

My hours are from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Full day rate is $37 (7 to 9 hours, 1 meal and 2 snacks provided--solid foods only)

Hourly rate is $5 per hour.

If your child is in school and you require full day care at any time (PD days, March Break, Winter Break) the full day rate will apply.

Early drop-offs and late pick-ups can be negotiated on an occasional basis; overtime charges will apply ($5 for 30 minutes).

All fees are on a per-day basis and are due in advance.
You are paying for your child to have a place in my home, therefore you must pay for every day your child is expected (even if they are unwell or absent) unless you have notified me two weeks in advance of a change in your care requirements.

You are also required to pay statutory holidays if the holiday falls on a day your child would regularly be in my care. New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day are all paid Stat Days.

Each year I will take 3 – 4 weeks of unpaid vacation time.

Monday January 18 – Friday January 23
Monday April 21 (Easter Monday)
Monday July 6 – Friday July 13
Friday August 1, Monday August 4th (Civic Holiday weekend)
Friday August 29 (Labour Day weekend)
Wednesday December 24
Monday December 29 - Wednesday December 31

2015 holidays are: 
Friday January 2
Monday March 16 – Friday March 20 (March Break)
Monday April __ (Easter Monday)
Monday July __ - Friday July __
Friday August __, Monday August __ (Civic Holiday weekend)
Friday September 4th (Labour Day weekend)
Thursday December 24
Monday December 28 (stat in leiu of Boxing day) -  Thursday December 31

You are allotted 1 additional week of unpaid vacation time per calendar year. Please give a minimum of two weeks' notice before starting your vacation.

NSF cheques will be subject to a $10 service fee. Late payments will be subject to a $10 penalty fee.


You must give a minimum of two weeks' notice to end your child care contract.

Tax receipts will be provided after December 31 of the current year.
