Bye Friends!

Playing in the backyard last week--which were our last days with Hailey and Brody.  We will miss you so much!  You have grown up into such big kids who made me smile every day!  Good luck in J.K. --you will be great!  You are so clever and you will learn new things every day!  Don't be strangers, come by to visit me whenever you can.

everyday stuff

A great article on working with strong-willed children.
Check it out here at
Aha Parenting

I was reading it for Daniel, but I bet there are a couple others who would find this useful too. ;)

Moving Day

Moving Day!
We are relocating this summer--out of the Jack Chambers district and into the Hillcrest school district.
We are counting the sleeps until we get the keys to our first house!
Monday July 30 will be the first day at the new house.
All parents handy with a paint roller will be recruited (HAHA!)

Playing Dress-Up

Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Hailey
Now you are FOUR!
We all made some birthday cupcake crafts for the celebration.
(And of course, enjoyed a yummy treat too!)

Picnic Snack

Everyone is eager to strip off their layers with the warm air.
We also found our first lady bug.

Dinosaurs Roar

Exploring our crafty sides on a rainy March Break afternoon.
All the kids took home their painted dinosaur figurines.
They were very proud!

More than meets the Eye...

Brody modeling his Transformer mask for us.
(Or as Daniel calls it: "Transporters")

Parachute Games

We don't have a parachute, but a blanket or sheet works just as well!
Here we are giving Daniel's bear a ride in the air!

Spring Rain!

Walking Amelia to the bus stop on a rainy spring morning.

Feild Trip: Pet Smart

Our outing to "see the fishes" was a big hit.  The staff were great and even let us meet Quaker, who said a few words to us and even let Hailey stroke his feathers.  Olivia wasn't too sure about the bird being out of his house.  Tateden was very excited about the fish and the hampsters. Brody's favourite was looking at the kitties in the adoption center.  There were some cuties!  The kids were very well behaved, as always I was very proud to have such a lovely group of children with me. ;)
